Black Lives Matter Poem
Last week my mummy asked me if racism still exists,
I said no it doesn’t then she explained the risks.
So have a think about how it’s so unfair,
For people of colour it must be a nightmare.
I thought racism ended with Martin Luther King,
But it turns out he never was going to win.
Some people treat black people as less
So that’s why we need to peacefully protest.
Black lives matter is the message to keep in mind,
Be tolerant, be educated and don’t forget be kind
For all the people of colour I promise it’s true
Sacred Heart Byermoor stands with you.
