The Year 5 children had a fantastic time on Thursday visiting the Blue Reed Aquarium in Tynemouth. The children had time to explore and loved seeing all the different marine life. They took part in a workshop learning about the different types of animals and the differences between them. They even had the chance to get up close and personal with a star fish and have a feel of it. Following this, the children loved watching the seal show and got a little bit wet when they stood in the ‘splash zone’. We had just enough time at the end of the day to visit the shop and pick up a souvenir. What a great day.
