I know, I know, it’s only November but our school enterprise fair is only 2 weeks away! Because of this, Year 6 have had two rather special afternoons this week; we’ve begun making our Christmas crafts!
On Tuesday, we met up with our special reception buddies to make some festive greeting cards that the reception children were able to keep to sell at their enterprise afternoon. The children were all very excited to spend some time with their friends. Sadly, the weather held us back as we had also planned to have some play time exploring the new outdoor area reception. Thankfully we still have many more days of Year 6 to enjoy the space with our buddies.
Following on from this, on Thursday afternoon Year 6 welcomed a visitor into class to help them making their own, very professional looking, Christmas cards. A friend of Miss Reid’s has her own stationary shop on etsy where she designs and makes everything from Christening invitations and birthday cards, to save the dates and wedding table cards. The whole class loved the activities that we had organised for them and I think you will agree their final products look fantastic!
Thank you to everyone who has given time to help us this week in our craft making and we hope to see you all on November 28th for the Enterprise afternoon.
