Year 3 were set the task of cooking a European dish of their choice. The children had lots of fun making some of their favourite European dishes at home from scratch with their families. They even used their recently learnt numeracy skills by measuring ingredients out carefully in the correct measure. Lots of delicious food was made such as scones, pizza, lasagne, Portokalopita (Greek syrupy orange cake) and omelette. Save the say, all of this food made Miss Walker very hungry! The children were also set a RE task which involved them showing acts of the Holy Spirit. Lots of the children demonstrated kindness and love by helping a sibling, doing activities that others enjoy (which they may not necessarily like doing themselves) and looking after pets. Well done Year 3!
