Sacred Heart is a cash and cheque free school. This means no cash or cheques are accepted in the school office.
Our online payment system, ParentPay, allows all parents to make payments for school meals, trips and other activities via a secure online website. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments by debit card whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest Internet security available. Offering advice to the Department for Education and government agencies, ParentPay is recognised as the leading expert in this sector. ParentPay provide services to over 2,000 schools across 165 local authorities.
ParentPay have also developed a mobile app (being released later this academic year) enabling parents with smartphones or tablets to quickly see dinner money balances, top-up their children’s accounts, view and pay for school items and receive alerts and communications from school. Furthermore, they have also announced a couple of key new features to be implemented during the academic year:
Scheduled Payments – allows the school to configure automated payment schedules for trips and events
Automated Payments – parents can select auto top-up of accounts based on the balance or a specific frequency which is ideal for automating dinner money top-ups or regular payments like music lessons.
Please note that this is now our only form of payment, particularly with regards to trips and activities. The School Office will not be accepting any cash or cheques without prior agreement. Please contact the Office if you have a valid reason for not using this method of payment.
