As part of their Literacy lesson today, Year 6 have been analysing a chapter from our book – A Murder Most Unladylike. They were set the task to find all of the SPaG that had been used. The children were blown away to see how much is actually used.
As an extra challenge, the children then had to discuss the significance of the author using such specific SPaG features.
Hopefully this will help the children to see the importance of using SPaG in their writing, especially as they will be writing their own mystery themed story at the end of this half term.
