Today, we have slowed down our learning in order to really dig in to the process of addition when crossing the hundreds barrier. This is something we have been struggling with, so we took the time today to use and represent Base 10 equipment, as well as using hundreds, tens and unit frames to classify our numbers.

Taking the lesson back to basics will help us to progress next lesson, as we are now secure in using this method to add, and will be able to use this understanding as we move into using columnar methods.
