Today, we have been working on Design & Technology skills in Creative. We have been investigating food originating from European countries and have been learning about the diet of the region and seasonality of foods from across Europe. We even talked about food mileage. We made bruschetta and discussed the flavours and how the ingredients were grown and made. Our key skills involved a range of techniques such as peeling, chopping, slicing, grating, mixing, spreading, kneading and baking, today.
