We have been learning all about Europe as part of our creative topic. This week we have been looking at food and where different types of food come from. We also enjoyed finding out about different countries traditional foods. We chose to create our own version of an italian classic, bruschetta.
When creating our bruschetta, we had to carefully chop tomatoes and mix them with a small amount of salt, pepper and oil. We discussed why this might have been a popular italian dish and the children were able to write out their own instructions, explaining how to make it. Some of us loved it and wanted to eat it all day long… but others were not so keen.
