This week is National Healthy Eating Week, so here in Year 3A we have been discussing what foods make up our diet. We know all of the different nutrients that we need to nourish our bodies with thanks to our science topic this term, and can identify them. So this week during snack time, we decided to take a closer look at what we are eating and how healthy our snacks are. We then discussed what makes a healthy and balanced diet. We identified that fruit and vegetables are a great snack and that we should all be drinking water throughout the day. Exercising is also an important part of staying healthy. Our class discussion made us all very hungry!
