Year 3A – Indestructible Greek Tower

While building this Greek tower we used; glue sticks, three wooden trays, metal pots, cups, books and plates. We used them all to make a six tier tower, it was very similar to the Greek Colosseum which is an ancient Greek structure, which has survived many years. Our tower was similar because we used posts and lintels, the Greeks loved making temples so every God had a temple. We took inspiration from them to make our own. We tested how the first tier held up by adding books for weight, we continued to do this as we built our tower. We tested to see if our tower lasted overnight… and IT SURVIVED!
