We learnt about the preparation of the gifts which occurs during the liturgy of the Eucharist. hen, we answered questions together such as What is Holy Communion? Why is Holy Communion important to the Catholic church? We discussed the Holy Communion practices and customs before taking a considering what the different elements of the gift represent.

Our final task was to act out the offering of the gifts of bread and wine using freeze frames. The children then described within their groups, what was happening at every stage and who was involved.
